Eduardo Garza
Founder
As the founder of Miss Jellys Teachers, Eduardo Garza is driven by a deep, personal passion for cultural exchange and service. This passion was sparked by his upbringing in the diverse city of Houston and solidified by his transformative volunteer work at the Ronald McDonald House.
During his time there, Eduardo was a key source of comfort and support for families who had traveled from all over the world from the Philippines to Mexico and beyond seeking medical care for their children. He assisted them in navigating a new city and, in the process, formed powerful connections, learning firsthand about their lives and home cultures. This experience gave him a profound appreciation for the power of human connection across borders.
Eduardo founded Miss Jellys Teachers to bring that same spirit of global community to U.S. classrooms. He saw the J-1 Teacher Program as the perfect opportunity to give international educators a chance to come to America, share their culture, and enrich the lives of students.
With a professional background as a skilled journeyman electrician and certified safety technician, Eduardo brings a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a deep-seated desire to help others succeed.
Diana Garza
Director of Business Development / VP
Diana Garza is an experienced program coordinator with 10 years of combined experience in international exchange and public service. Her career began as a police dispatcher for the Houston area, where she mastered critical skills in communication, crisis management, and organization.
She later channeled this experience into youth engagement as a teen recruiter before finding her true calling in international exchange. For six years, Diana served as a Program Manager and Coordinator for a J-1 sponsor organization, where she was responsible for all aspects of the exchange teacher program. Diana is passionate about fostering meaningful global connections and now seeks to apply her deep expertise in program compliance and teacher support as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO).
